Meta Brunzema, principal of Meta Brunzema Architect P.C., has over 20 years of experience in architecture, urban design and education. She has received a Bachelor of Environmental Design Science degree from Dalhousie University in Canada and a Master of Architecture degree from Columbia University in New York. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Urban Design. She began her professional practice in New York City – collaborating with the architects Steven Holl, Rafael Vinoly and Charles Gwathmey before launching her own firm in 1998. Meta Brunzema Architect P.C. creates socially and environmentally innovative public projects for its clients and the communities it serves. The company motto is: “Explore different ways”. Ms. Brunzema is on the graduate faculty of Pratt Institute in New York, where her research focuses on sustainable urban design and large-scale development. She has lectured widely and her work has been published in journals in the US, Europe and Asia. Recently, her work has been featured in Robert A.M. Stern’s history book: New York 2000, Architecture & Urbanism (1976 – 2000). |
