Jeanine Centuori  Woodbury University , USA

Jeanine Centuori is an architect, artist, professor, and mother.  Her educational background includes degrees from The Cooper Union and Cranbrook Academy of Art, where architecture is pursued as an art form.  She holds a teaching position in Woodbury University’s Department of Architecture where she is the Director of the Hollywood Center for Community Research and Design.  She has been very involved in community outreach projects in practice and academia. She founded UrbanRock Design with her partner, Russell Rock, in 2000 in Los Angeles.  UrbanRock Design is an interdisciplinary studio of urban design, architecture, and art.  Current projects include new housing in Los Angeles, public art projects for Denver and Santa Clarita, and furniture proto-types.  She is a professor at Woodbury University in the School of Architecture and is currently working with her students on a new urban prototype for a “Cap Park” covering the Hollywood freeway.  Her work has received awards from ID Magazine, Architecture Magazine, Metropolis Magazine, and others.  Her work has been exhibited and published widely.
